It's probably a 478 pin, right? Does it have to be an Athlon or AMD? My laptop (ze4545US) says that it has a Celeron 2.4 Ghz, but I was wanting to see if I could replace it with an Intel 3Ghz with 800 FSB.. Then, maybe I could use some high density memory sticks I have (1GB, 266 Mhz, PC2100, DDR SODIMM). HP says that this laptop will only run up to 1GB of memory (2x512Mb) and it seems to want the low density memory. I can't even get it to boot with the high density stuff.
