Otherwise a local repair shop is your best bet.</description>

If it is the motherboard, you most likely need a brand new one and not just one part. Replacing a laptop motherboard is the way to go because trying to narrow it down to 1 thing will cost more than just replacing it. If you have a dv1000, you would need part number 367799-001 as long as your laptop has a Intel processor.</description>
