441097-001 NEW HP TX1000 AMD Laptop Motherboard Price: $139.99 on eBay® |

Hi, cool post. I have been wondering about this topic,so thanks for writing.
No problem, thanks for visiting laptop motherboard guide.
My TX went dead, guess is over heated. Tried everything, now is time for seeking replace the motherboard. My question is, you have above 2 motherboard, dose it include CPU or not ?
I do not sell motherboards or any part’s. I am giving you the part number you need to search for to replace your laptop motherboard. The 2 you saw below are just examples to aid in ordering the correct system board. Normally a CPU would not come with a motherboard purchase from HP so I would be safe and assume it is not included. You may be able to find someone selling the 441097-001 with processor on a auction site such as eBay or by searching google.
Just a heads-up: Got word from an acquaintance recently who lost his TX1000-series in the typical fashion. He found a good computer tech to install a new southbridge on the systemboard for $150USD. Apparently the stock southbridge is brutal and the first-rate one that he had put on ran almost 10 degrees (F) cooler. I’m now hunting for a tech who can replace the southbridge chip in my dead TX1218ca.
Thanks for the information. I am located in NY but I am sure there are good computer shops in your area. Check google for business who specialize in laptop repair. Have a good day.
My Tx1000 motherboard got cooked; I understand a lot of people are having the same problem and that the graphics chip overheats. I don’t see any point in replacing the motherboard with the same board (with presumably the same weakness). Is there a way to check to see if the processor itself is OK, and if so, is there an aftermarket board that will fit in the case? As a fall back position, I would like to get a good motherboard with the correct socket even if it wouldn’t fit in the Tx case and end up with a sort of semi-laptop. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks and have a good day.
i only suggest using the same part number laptop motherboard that is already in your machine. you will save yourself alot of time and money – if you wanted to upgrade i would honestly suggest buying a new laptop since motherboards are a little pricey and you need to install it or have a place install it for you. i don’t have any idea’s on this case on testing the cpu without causing damage so i apologize about that. thanks for visiting.
i have 2 tx 1000 with cooked mother boards, this part number laptop motherboard was perfect
your information was useful.

your website was the only notebook motherboard website I found without popups and ads taking up my screen trying to sell me everything but didn’t help me with my problem. finally good to know that theres still honest helpful people out still. thank you
Thank you for all of your generosity and help.
I know the iphone is a phone but does it cost extra money to get internet on the iphone and can you pick which place to get service from like tmobile or verizon or something.
What is your question to be more specific? I’m not sure what your asking about, thanks.
HP wanted $550 more for my motherboard then the link I saw in your post. Thank god I came across your site before buying from hp direct.
Hp does overcharge in my opinion and that doesn’t even include installation. I’m happy to hear I was able to save you a ton of money. I sound like a Geico commercial lol. Take care.

anyone replaceing your motherboard in the above mentioned hp tx models…..should DEFinately install a small copper cooling “shim” on your GPU…..this lowers op. temps by AT LEAST 20 degrees….my gpu runs NOMORE than 65 degress rather than the normal and above 85 degrees……you`ll get years more use than the average 2yrs of use….you can find them sold on ebay for around $4-$5…..a WISE investment!!!! good luck all
