459565-001 HP Pavilion dv6500 dv6700 dv6800 dv6900 AMD Full Featured Motherboard

The hp Pavilion dv6000 series was a huge hit and was one of their best selling laptops back then and right now. Unfortunately computer problems do happen and this particular series has been coming in with laptop motherboards that just went bad, so I wanted to pass on my knowledge to anyone who could use it.

This laptop part is only for all you AMD owners, you will need part number 459565-001 which is specifically a "System board (motherboard systemboard) for Pavilion dv6000 series - nVIDIA MCP67MX | Full-featured (UMA) with integrated Realtek (RT8201CL) NIC". The alternate p/n for this PC mainboard is 3TAT1MB00E0.

The same part no. 459565-001 was made for and works in HP Pavilion dv6500z CTO, dv6700, dv6700us, dv6800, dv6800us, dv6900 and dv6900us series laptops. *This motherboard was specifically made only for the AMD TK-57 and TL-60 CPU's ONLY... so make sure your notebook is currently using this processor.

  1. My son has/had a HP dv6700 laptop, with the Nvidia curse, he has asked me to try fix it for him, I need to know what motherboard I need to get.

    s/n is CNF8212DTZ

    p/n is FE653UA#ABA

    Im not sure if this has an intel or amd, since it is not operational at this time.
