462535-001 HP Pavilion dv2000 dv2600 dv2700 dv2800 dv2900 and Compaq Presario V3000 V3600 V3700 V3800 V3900 Series AMD Turion 64 X2 Laptop Motherboard

Just finished putting back together a hp dv2600 laptop that needed a motherboard replacement. This series in my opinion is a more difficult laptop to repair parts in general.

For my customers dv2600 notebook, I had to use hp pn: 462535-001 which hp references to a "PC Board : System board (motherboard) - Includes thermal material - For full-featured UMA model" AMD Turion 64 X2 CPU Board".

462535-001 will also work with these notebook models - HP Pavilion DV2600 DV2700 DV2800 DV2900 and Compaq Presario V3600 V3700 V3800 V3900 Series AMD Turion 64 X2 Laptop Motherboard | "Fits AMD Turion 64 X2 Processors ONLY"

Do you know the part number of the motherboard? If not, click on the item in the post and do a additional search for dv2600(xx) where xx is the country of your laptop and would be on the bottom of your computer.

my hp wont boot up, just the blue lights come on. everyone is pointing to the motherboard. it looks like you liked to one here, my questions is how do I know that they are quality and not one i will have to replace again in a year.
