481534-001 HP Compaq 6710b 6710s Series Full-Featured Laptop Motherboard
It has been a long day for me with laptop motherboard installations. The laptop motherboard in a customers hp 6710b needed to be replaced. It took me more time then I thought to track down the correct part number 481534-001 since the factory system board had no replacement P/N and hp had me on the phone for an hour and basically ended up being no help.
Eventually I found out that p/n 481534-001 is the HP Compaq 6710b 6710s Series Full-Featured Laptop Motherboard which specs turn out to be "PC Board : System board (motherboard) - For Full-Featured (FF) models using Penryn processors".
481534-001 will only work with the: HP Compaq 6710b series, HP Compaq 6710s T5470 15.4 512/80 notebook and HP Compaq 6710s T7250 15.4 512/120 models.
