482277-001 HP 2133 Mini-Note With 1.6GHz VIA C7-M Processor Laptop Motherboard
The new HP 2133 Mini-Note laptop is HP's newer netbook model's and unfortunately not much information is available on part replacement. I came across a friend who needed to replace the motherboard on his HP 2133 Mini-Note 1.6GHz Laptop. HP was not able to provide a straight or helpful answer so I did some research being the good friend that I am.
I found that HP Part #: 482277-001 which is the "System board with processor - 1.6GHz VIA C7-M ultra low voltage processor (800MHz front side bus, 8W thermal design power) - Includes ExpressCard assembly, fan/heat sink, RTC battery, and replacement thermal material" was a exact match for his HP 2133.
We found a online store selling it for a fair price and one week later..... waaallaaa, his HP Mini-Note 2133 was back up and running like new.

are these easy to install or should i bring it to a shop?

A few weeks ago this same announcement led to e-Bay where it was indicated that the product would come from California. It was advertised for US$135.00 with free shipping by UPS ground to the US. There were half a dozen available. Suddenly the price went down to US$79.99 and now the product is supposed to come from Hong Kong with a US$20.00 additional delivery charge to the US. How trustful this part is? Is it really new or refurbished? The same product is announced in other stores for almost US$300.00. How come that some distributors can sell for half or even one third of the price advertised by others? I would surely welcome comments on my doubts.

My Hp 2133 is only a few months old and suddenly died and won’t power up any more. Blue power light comes on but nothing on screen, no sounds and orange wireless light will not come on.The cooling fan still runs and the bottom parts still heat up but the computer is still not powering on.I was told by hp help centre that it has a motherboard failure. I need a new motherboard cost at least $85.00
