The HP Motherboard Part Number for the just released HP TouchSmart tx2 Series is 504466-001. The motherboard comes with “integrated graphics, multiple USB ports - No processor, no memory” according to Hewlett-Packard.

hello, i would search ebay or google shopping for part number 504466-001 and you will find the motherboard for no more then $175 im sure. thanks for writing

I have to replace a motherboard on a tx2-1025 and I’ve never dismantled a tablet before. I couldn’t imagine much difference from a notebook but cautious nonetheless. I was wondering if you knew where I could find some sort of schematic or pdf on the venture.

I will take a look and try to help but off hand I don’t have anything like that on me. I’ll do some research and let you know if I find anything that may help you. If you never took apart a laptop I don’t advise trying to change the motherboard yourself IMO.
