GM848 X635D Dell XPS M1330 1330 Intel Laptop Motherboard

Looks like it's another nice rainy day for me today which means laptop repair time! I'm going to start with the Dell M1330 first, since I already have the correct laptop motherboard in hand. His notebook is a M1330 series and needed part number GM848.

This is what Dell's part reference manual says "Motherboard w/ Intel Video PN: | GM848 X635D | On-board Integrated Intel Video Chipset | Dell part #: GM848 is also a replacement for part #: X635D".

This same system board works with all Dell XPS 1330 M1330 Series Notebook PC Computers.

I was happy on how smooth the install went and the customer seemed very happy on not paying Dell $850 for a new motherboard. I could only wonder how much more money Dell would charge to install any laptop PC motherboard?

i sure can but will need a little more info on your laptop. can you tell me the numbers on the bottom of the machine and which sony vaio model you have?

This particular part number only works for the all Dell XPS 1330 and M1330 series laptops. Which dell do you have and I could point you in the correct direction.
