K000051320 Toshiba Satellite A200 And A205 Series Laptop Motherboard
Had to order laptop motherboard P/N: K000051320 for a friends Toshiba Satellite A200 series notebook - When I called Toshiba this is the exact information they gave me for this laptop motherboard "Toshiba K000051320 | M/B ASSY-GEHXSWR15". The laptop motherboard should be here in a few days and if anything changes with it, I'll be sure to update this post.

This laptop motherboard works with most of the Toshiba Satellite A200 & A205 series laptops. I only found 3 slight variations of this motherboard but am not 100% in the difference yet. When I get the K000051320 laptop motherboard in the mail, I will get pictures and other service tag pn's off the system board.

To whom it may concern:
I have an old Toshiba M205 that I would love to upgrade to be a newer fresher machine. Ideally what I would like is to be able to put a motherboard in the frame of the laptop that would be at least a dual core processor with 8GB RAM max. Is it possible to replace my current mother board in this machine with something more powerful, or am I stuck? The reason is I love the form factor of this machine, but it is quite old and needs better processing capabilities to handle today’s software.
Please advise…

Sorry to say but you are stuck. No other motherboard but the same # as your current one will work. If a upgrade is needed I would sell your current laptop and buy a new one that has the specs you need. Any special modding will prob screw up the machine 99.9%.
